White Mountain Art and Memorabilia Sale

Paintings for the 21st annual White Mountain Art Sale are available for purchase as they arrive, so check the online catalog frequently. If you would like to consign a 19th century painting to the sale, contact Leslie Schomaker. The consignor sets the price of their item and the Historical Society adds a small premium. There is no cost to consign. If the painting or item does not sell, the consignor takes it back. To make an appointment to view the sale other than open hours Saturday and Sunday 1:00 - 3:00, contact Leslie Schomaker. The Society accepts cash or checks, but not credit cards.

Signed lower right E.M. Carpenter. Carpenter was a popular landscape painter and teacher of art in Boston. She painted in the White Mountains as well as the South, California, and Yosemite in the 1870s.
